I applied early decision to Dartmouth because I knew it was the right place for me. The students here are very supportive of one another and of the school, which makes it a great place to grow and to learn.
How long have you been riding and what got you interested in riding?
My mom loved horseback riding when she was younger, and she got my siblings and me into it when I was 11. I rode for about three years before I went to boarding school, and it got more challenging for me to be able to ride, though I still ride a few times a week when I go home over breaks.
Tell me something interesting about you that might come as a surprise to your teammates.
Though my family has lived in different places outside the US, I am American and was born in Louisville, Kentucky, not far from Churchill Downs!
What other activities are you involved in on campus?
I play the French horn in the Dartmouth Wind Ensemble.
What are your future plans?
I am thinking of majoring in engineering and minoring in classics.
