Before Dartmouth:
Ran three years of indoor track and cross country and four years of outdoor track at Simsbury High School...Served as a captain of outdoor and cross country teams as a senior...Recipient of several accolades from Hartford Courant  during his high school career...All-state in cross country and outdoor his senior year...Three-time member of All-New England Team...A member of a state championship 4x800-meter relay team in both indoor and outdoor track in 2012.

Born in Cincinnati...Son of Michael and Daryl Stanko...Has one sister.
