2015-16 (Senior):
PIcked up his first point of the season with an assist at No. 11 Harvard on Nov. 1...Notched his first goal of the year at home in a 7-3 win against Brown on Nov. 6...

2014-15 (Junior): Played in 29 games…Called for 10 penalties and 31 PIM…Posted a 2-12-14 scoring line to finish seventh on the team in scoring…Finished the year +7… Had two assists, including one on the game-tying goal in the final minute in Dartmouth's wild 4-3 OT comeback win at No. 8 Union on Nov. 7...His best outing of the season was a one-goal, two-assist, three-point night against Sacred Heart in an 8-3 win against the Pioneers to close out the first half of the season on Dec. 6. The goal against SHU was a shorthanded marker and finished the game a season-best +3…Scored his second and final goal of the year against Boston College in the championship game of the Ledyard Classic on Jan. 3…Dartmouth was 6-3-2 in games in which Patterson played.

2013-14 (Sophomore): Played in the first 16 games of the season before an injury suffered on Jan. 8 at Boston University shelved him for the final 18 contests of the year…Played both forward and defense before getting hurt…Posted three goals and five assists for eight points…Had a goal and an assist against St. Lawrence at home on Nov. 9…Picked up a helper on Nick Lovejoy’s first career goal which stood up to be the game winner at BU…Was not whistled for a single penalty prior to his injury in 16 games…His first point of the season was a long stretch pass in the final minute of regulation that sprung Eric Neiley for the tying goal against Princeton on Oct. 25 in the season opener at the Prudential Center as part of the Libersty Shootout…Switched from #21 as a freshman to #13 as a sophomore...Dartmouth was 1-2-0 when he scored a goal and 2-5-0 when picking up a point.

2012-13 (Freshman):
Played in 32 of the team’s 34 games…Wrapped up the season with two goals and five assists for seven points…Played both forward and defense during the course of the season due to injuries and shuffled lineups…Scored his first collegiate goal in the 4-0 win at Brown on Oct. 27 to help Dartmouth win the Ivy Shootout…Notched a shorthanded goal midway through the first period against UMass in the championship game of the 2012 Ledyard Classic…Had two-game point streaks on two occasions…Played in 21 of the team’s 22 ECAC Hockey games, registering three assists in those contests…Was called for just seven minor penalties all season.

Before Dartmouth: Played the 2010-11 and 2011-12 season in the USHL with the Sioux City Musketeers...In 89 games he scored 14 goals and added 35 assists for 49 points...Prior to his time with the Musketeers, he played two seasons with Benilde-St. Margaret's, where he suited up in 47 games...His high school statistics included 25 goals, 54 assists and 79 points, while averaging 1.68 points per game...His physical style earned him 119 PIMs at the USHL level and 58 in high school...Played with Team USA in 2012 at the World Junior "A" Challenge U-19, scoring once and assisting on another in five games played...A USA Select 15 Development Camp selection...Served as the team captain at Benilde-St. Margaret's as a senior...A three-time all-conference selection in high school...Also played lacrosse in high school, helping his team to the 2010 Minnesota State Championship...Attended Eden Prairie High School as a freshman.

Personal: Son of Jim and Josie Patterson...Has one sister and one brother...His brother, Sean, plays lacrosse at Sacred Heart as a part of the Class of 2019...His cousin, Will Engasser, played hockey at Yale from 2004-08, serving as captain his final season with the Bulldogs.
