Highest ranking: No. 32 on TennisRecruiting.com

Yau has been ranked as high as No. 1 in the USTA/Eastern section and won five sectional singles tournaments in recent years, as well as a National Open title. She has also been recognized for her sportsmanship by USTA/Eastern and by the National Open tournament in El Paso, Texas. As a junior player, she played many doubles tournaments with Akiko Okuda '15. Yau trains at Robbie Wagner's Tournament Training and is coached by Viktor Marinkovic.
