Hit safely in nine of his 10 starts on the season ... started second game of the year at second base at 13th-ranked LSU ... went 2-for-3 with a walk, run and two RBIs in 12-4 triumph at Sacramento State as the starting third baseman ... ripped a two-out, two-run single at Cal Poly as the leadoff hitter ... reached base three times against Saint Anselm with a single and two walks, plus stole a base ... began game-winning, three-run rally with a walk and scored the tying run to open the seventh of a 4-2 win over Holy Cross ... banged out two singles and was hit by a pitch at Hartford in the 14-5 victory ... final hit of the year was an RBI triple in the 9-6 win at Boston College ... played summer ball with the Licking County Settlers in the Great Lakes League and helped them win the league as an all-star shortstop with a .309 average, five homers and 24 RBIs.

HIGH SCHOOL
After earning a letter at East Ridge in Clermont as a freshman, transferred to South Lake where he picked up three more letters for coach Kerry Whetro ... served as captain in his last two years and was named the team MVP in each ... also South Lake Offensive Player of the Year and Lake County Student-Athlete of the Year as a senior ... played in the United States Specialty Sports Association 12U World Series in 2005 for the Clermont Lightning, earnning all-tournament honors at shortstop.
