PINKSTON'S CAREER STATS

2014-15 (Senior): Played in 28 games… Finished the season with a 4-9-13 scoring line, all career highs for offense…Whistled for 13 minors and 26 PIM…Led the team with a +14 rating…Notched the first Dartmouth goal of the year with a blast from the point 10:53 into the opening period at Harvard on Nov. 1 as part of a 3-3 tie with the Crimson...Assisted on four game-winning goals over the course of the season, including postseason…Scored a career-high two goals in a Big Green loss at St. Lawrence on Feb. 21…The team was 7-4-1 when Pinkston scored a point.

2013-14 (Junior): Appeared in 32 of the team’s 34 games…Registered six points on two goals and four assists…Was third on the team in PIMs with 38 and second in total penalties (19), all minors…Scored his first goal of the season in a 6-1 win at Clarkson on Feb. 15…Netted his only other goal of the year in Dartmouth’s come-from-behind victory in Game 3 of the first-round playoff series at RPI on March 9…His first point of the season came on an assist at Yale on Dec. 6 as the Big Green knocked off the defending national champs in New Haven, 4-1... Dartmouth was 2-0-0 when he scored a goal and 4-0-2 when picking up a point.

2012-13 (Sophomore):
Played in all but one of Dartmouth’s 34 games, returning from an arm injury sustained in the previous postseason…Ranked second on the team with a +9 rating…Scored four goals and added four assists for eight points…Played in all 22 ECAC hockey contests, scoring three goals and chipping in with two assists…Scored the first Dartmouth goal at then-No. 1 Boston College on Nov. 24 for his first marker of the season…His slap shot from the point on the power play with 4:55 remaining in the third period at Union on Feb. 1 proved to be the game-tying goal as the teams skated to a 2-2 draw in front of a national TV audience on the NBC Sports Network…Scored the team’s lone goal in the regular season finale against No. 1 Quinnipiac on March 2...Second on the team in both penalties (15) and PIMs (38).

2011-12 (Freshman): Saw action in 24 games...Missed final three games of the season after suffering an injury at St. Lawrence in the first game of the 2012 ECAC Hockey Tournament...Finished the season with one goal and six assists for seven points...Scored his first career collegiate goal at RPI on 1/6 in a game that was broadcast nationally on the new NBC Sports Network. That goal proved to be the eventual game winner...His first career point was an assist at St. Lawrence on 11/18...Put together a three-game point streak over the final two weekends of the regular season (0g/4a)...Recorded his first multi-point game of his career with two assists at Brown on 2/18...Wore jersey #23 in his first season before switching to #7.

Before Dartmouth: A physical player who was one of the toughest in the USHL...A three-year veteran of  the USHL...A USHL All-Star, he finished the season with 23 points in 55 games ...A winner of several weekly awards during his time with Tri-City as well as being tabbed by the team as the Defenseman of the Year in 2010-11...Owns the Storm record for most assists in a game by a defenseman with three against Cedar Rapids, a team that featured future teammate Andy Simpson who scored a goal that game.
