Zeiss Photos

Senior (2014-15): Zeiss appeared in 29 games as a senior, scoring five goals and seven assists for a career-high 12 points … all five of her goals were scored against conference opponents …  her first marker of the season came in the 5-2 victory over RPI on Nov. 1 … the next game, she had a two-point performance after assisting on two tallies in the 5-1 win against St. Lawrence on Nov. 8 … scored two goals, the second of which being the game-winner, in the 5-1 win over Brown on Jan. 3 … had three multi-point games and ended nine games with at least one point.

Junior (2013-14): In her third season with the Big Green, Zeiss appeared in all 30 games ... scored one marker and dished out a pair of assists ... had her first point of the season registering a helper against Brown on Jan. 11 ... scored her first goal of the year in a 4-3 win against Union in front of a home crowd at Thompson Arena ... registered the primary assist on the game's first goal in a 2-1 win at Yale in the season finale.

Sophomore (2012-13): In her second year on campus, Zeiss appeared in 27 games ... scored two goals and dished out a pair of assists ... had one goal and one assist in conference action ... scored her first goal of the season on Dec. 31 in a 4-2 win at Providence ... her assist came in the second game of the campaign against Quinnipiac ... scored a marker in a 6-0 win versus Union on the road.

Freshman (2011-12): In her first season, Zeiss played in 25 games playing in the third and fourth lines ... Scored her first collegiate goal in a 5-2 home victory over Vermont on Jan. 3 ... took nine shots and blocked one shot.

Before Dartmouth: Zeiss entered Dartmouth from Choate Rosemary Hall, where she also played for the Connecticut Polar Bears U-19 team ... at Choate Rosemary Hall, she competed in hockey, field hockey and softball earning 12 varsity letters ... in hockey, she earned four varsity letters ... was named to the Division I New England Prep School Girls' Ice Hockey Association All-Star Team her junior year ... was the team's leading scorer in points and goals her sophomore season ... was the captain of the Connecticut Polar Bears U-14 and U-16 teams ... attended both the 2010 and 2009 girls USA selection camps.

Personal: Samantha Nicole Zeiss is the daughter of John and Fran Zeiss ... has two brothers and was born on November 22, 1993 ... was the Editor-in-Chief of the Choate Press from 2008-11 ... was also a Choate radio host from 2008-10 ... was a National Merit Commended Scholar in 2010-11 ... studying psychology and economics.
