Before Dartmouth: Stefan Defregger comes to the Big Green fresh off a New Hampshire State Championship at Gilford High School, where he captained his team to the state title game in both 2009 and 2010, winning the championship in 2010 ... A four-year varsity starter, Defregger was named first team all-state and Gilford MVP three times (2008, '09, '10) and All-New England twice (2009, '10) ... Was also a recipient of the NSCAA Senior Excellence Award in 2010 ... Defregger holds the Gilford High School records for career points 302, career goals (123) and goals in a season (46) ... His 123 career goals ranks third all-time in the state of New Hampshire as does his 117 career assists ... Was named the 2009 Manchester Union Leader Boys Soccer Player of the Year as a junior ...
