Q&A with Anna Harty
I chose Dartmouth because of the strong academics, gorgeous location, and because I loved the rowing team.
How long have you been rowing and what interested you about rowing?
I started rowing in tenth grade. When I was 15, my dad suggested that I try a rowing camp at the Naval Academy. Overall, the camp was a failure because there were only six people and two empty seats in the boat, but I still managed to fall in love with rowing.
What is something about you that might come as a surprise to your teammates?
I meditate. Really.
What extracurricular activities are you involved in on campus?
I am in Sigma Delta sorority, SAAC, and this year hope to become a Mentor Against Violence.
What are your future plans, if any?
I hope to get a job doing something I can be passionate about.
