Q and A with Megan

Why Dartmouth?
I chose Dartmouth because it provides a great balance between challanging academics, while still being able to ski and compete at a high level and be a part of an incredible ski team!

How long have you been skiing and what got you interested in skiing?
I have been skiing since Kindergarten, and racing since 3rd grade.  The town I'm from has a strong Nordic skiing history, so it felt like almost everyone skied in the winter.  All my friends skied during gym in the winter and after school, and eventually I just got hooked.

Have you won any academic or skiing awards recently?
5th Junior Women, Classic Sprint at US Nationals
8th at Middlebury Carnival

Tell me something interesting about you that might come as a surprise to your teammates.
I love almost all fast food. I barely ever eat it, but it's a really great treat after a long work out!

What are your future plans, if any?
I want to keep skiing for the rest of my life, but I'm unsure how competitive I will be after I graduate. As far as the future goes, who knows! But I do know that Dartmouth and the ski team will have opened many oppurtunities for me.

What extracurricular activities are you involved in on campus?
