Q & A with Janae
Why did you choose Dartmouth?
I really liked the chill atmosphere - people work hard, but they also play hard. On my
visit my senior year everyone was really nice and they were excited to have me there. The
way everyone just seemed to get along attracted me here.
I've been competing in track since 7th grade, I got interested because when I was little
people told me I was fast and I should try track.
I'm really lazy. Also I was on an Envirothon team in high school. Envirothon is a group
where you study different parts of the enviroment and then compete by taking tests on
what you know. As a result of being on that team I can tell you almost anything you need
to know about Pennsylvania soil.
I plan on majoring in a PreHealth field. I'd like to become a surgeon and then retire and become a librarian.
What extra curricular activities are you involved in on campus?
I'm involved in EMT and DCERT.
