Senior (2013-14): ITA Northeast Most Improved Player … completed her Big Green career with nine singles wins and eight doubles victories … opened the season with a singles victory against #64 Boston College (1/25) and Boston University (2/1) … coupled consecutive singles wins twice during the season … paired consecutive doubles wins three times during the season with Akiko Okuda.

Junior (2012-13): During her third year on campus, Matsuoka appeared in 34 matches, racking up 11 singles wins and seven doubles triumphs... Had an 11-7 record in singles play and 7-9 record in doubles... After dropping her first singles match during the dual match seaosn, she won six straight games... Registered Ivy League singles wins over No. 72 Cornell, No. 68 Princeton and Brown... Won a doubles conference match against the Tigers... Won four straight doubles matches in the middle of the season at No. 2 with partner Sarah Bessen.

Sophomore (2011-12): In her second season, Matsuoka appeared in five matches, competing three times in singles and twice in doubles... in singles action, she was 0-3 in Ivy League play competing at the No. 3 and No. 4 position... in doubles, she was 0-2, dropping a match at No. 1 with Jeri Reichel against No. 45 Boston College.

Freshman (2010-11): In her first season, Matsuoka was one of the top players for the Big Green and in the Ivy League ... was Dartmouth's Most Valuable Player along with Molly Scott ’11 ... played in 22 singles matches and 24 doubles contests ... in singles, she went 20-12 overall and 5-2 in the Ivy League ... spent a majority of the season at third singles ... had a six-match winning streak and a five-match winning streak, and ended the season winning seven of her last nine matches ... played doubles almost entirely with Molly Scott ’11 and went 22-12 overall ... played three doubles matches with classmate Sabrina Stewart and two with Jeri Reichel ’13 ... went 3-4 in doubles during the Ivy season.

Prior to Dartmouth: Playerd four years of girls' varsity tennis at Corona del Mar and was a three-time team captain ... National High School Tennis All-American ... team won the California Interscholastic Federation Division I Southern Section Championship in 2007, going 28-0 ... won the Pacific Coast League Singles Championship that same year with a 54-4 overall record ... was a three-time CIF Southern Section Finalist ... CIF Division I Southern Section team finalist in 2008 with a 20-3 mark and had a 24-4 record in 2009 as a finalist as well ... two-time Pacific Coast League Doubles Champion in 2008 and 2010 ... made the doubles finals of the CIF Southern Section Championship as a senior ... PCL singles finalist in 2009 with a 31-3 record ... four-time first team All-Pacific Coast League ... three-time Orange County Register first team all-county ... second team as a junior ... All-American Girls' High School Tournament's Most Valuable Player in 2010 and all-tournament team as a sophomore ... named Player of the Week by the Orange County Register and Daily Pilot ... recipient of the Southern California Tennis Association Sportsmanship Award as a freshman and a senior ... named a top-15 athlete by the Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce.
