Q&A with Peter Lee
Dartmouth has a small (but not too small) student body, a strong sense of community, and lots of cool traditions. Additionally, its professors' focus on and dedication to teaching undergraduates is unmatched at any other school of its caliber.
How long have you been rowing and what got you interested in rowing?
I walked on to the rowing team as a freshman at Columbia University because I wanted to pick up a new activity in college and rowing was one of the few things that didn't require prior experience. I was hooked the first time I sat in a boat.
Have you won any academic or rowing awards recently?
I've made all the athletic and academic honor rolls.
Tell me something interesting about you that might come as a surprise to
I've always been athletic and liked sports but I was never good at being on organized sports teams. I was never on a Varsity team in high school. But I always wish I had been. Which is probably half the reason why I'm rowing now.
What other activities do you participate in on campus?
I do design and layout for a couple of campus publications and participate in a couple of community service programs.
What are your future plans, if any.
Graduate from Dartmouth, find a job that I love to do, and move back to California.
