Dartmouth Career
2011-12:
During his junior campaign Pleat competed in all nine events for the Big Green... In 22 rounds he had the second lowest scoring average on the team at 74.4... had three top ten finishes... low round of the year was 70, which he shot on two seperate occasions... Best finish was tied for seventh at the McDonald Cup.

2010-11: Pleat competed in all eight events for the Big Green in his sophomore season ... Finished as one of the top two scorers for Dartmouth in five events ... Placed second at The Classic with a 1-over-par score of 143 ... Helped the Big Green finish second at the Hartford Hawk Invite by finishing in a tie for fourth with a 1-over-par 145 ... At the Ivy League Championship, Pleat tied for 28th with a three-round score of 243.

2009-10: In his first season with the Big Green James competed in the the McLaughlin Invitational, the Dartmouth Invitational, the MacDonald Cup, and the New England Championship ... Placed first in the Dartmouth Invitational and tied for 15th in the New England Championship where the Big Green placed 3rd overall.

Before Dartmouth: James Pleat was on the varsity golf team throughout his entire high school career at Nashua HS South ... In his first year of high school, Pleat won the N.H. CYO Championships ... In his junior year, he won the Low Qualifier for Callaway Junior World Championship, and in his senior year, Pleat won the N.H. State Schoolboy Golf Individual Championship and the Low Qualifier for United States Junior Amateur ... In all four years at Nashua, James was MVP and on the All-Area Golf Team ... In his senior year, he was named N.H. Junior Player of the Year and Southern N.H. Player of the Year ... James is the son of Philip and Lisa Pleat and he has one sister ... comes from a long line of college athletes as well as Dartmouth graduates; his father, sister along with six other relatives competed in Division I college athletics, and three of his relatives attended Dartmouth.
