2012 (Junior):
Appeared in five games, making one start in the home and Ivy opener against Yale on March 3...Had one caused turnover against the Bulldogs that day...Did not register a point over the course of the season and was whistled for just one foul.

2011 (Sophomore):
• Recipient of the Class of 1980 Award (For the woman that best represents herself, the team, the College and community through academics, athletics and community involvement)
Missed the entire 2011 season due to injury.

2010 (Freshman):
Did not see any varsity action

Before Dartmouth
Four-year varsity starter at Wilton, serving as team captain during the 2009 season ... Led Wilton to an FCIAC Championship in 2008 and a Division I State
Championship in 2006 … US Lacrosse First Team All-American as a senior in 2009 … First team all-state, first team All-FCIAC as both a junior and a senior … IWLCA Academic All-American in 2008 ... Honorable mention All-FCIAC in 2007 ... Won various scholar athlete and sportsmanship awards her senior year … Played for Lower New England Team 3, division finalists at the 2007 National Draw … Also led the soccer team to a pair of Class L State Championships and earned All-FCIAC accolades.

Daughter of Kurt and Beth Hansson ... Has one brother and one sister … Father, Kurt, played soccer at Tufts.
 
Patton on Hansson: Kyra has great size and brings the uniqueness of being a lefty. She is a patient player who anticipates well and has good game sense and understanding.

Skydiving, I’ve only gone tandem jumping but I want to get my license so I can go by myself.
What has been your favorite class at Dartmouth?
I really don’t know if I can choose, I’ve loved all my classes!
Where is your favorite place to eat on campus?
Yama. I eat there more than any other place on/off campus, their lunch special is the best kept secret in Hanover.
What is your favorite part of road trips?
Rooming with different people.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
I want to be a doctor, but I am still undecided about my specialty.
