Oliva Watkins enters her first year as an assistant coach at Dartmouth for the 2017-18 season.

Prior to arriving in Hanover, she spent two years as a volunteer assistant coach at the University of Illinois. Before and during her time working with Illinois, Watkins played for the Akron Racers and Pennsylvania Rebellion in the National Pro Fastpitch league. 

A four-year all-star at Western Kentucky University (2011-14), she left her mark there as the all-time leader in batting average (.380), stolen bases (117) and stolen base attempts (129). Watkins was the first ever player from WKU to get signed with an NPF team.

A 2015 graduate of Western Kentucky, Watkins earned a degree in interdisciplinary studies with an emphasis in science.
