2016-17 (Sophomore): Appeared in all but one game for the Big Green during his sophomore season, scoring 4 goals and adding 4 assists for 8 points...First goal of the season at Quinnipiac on Nov. 11, which was the start of his 4-point stretch in the next 5 games...Recorded a season-high two-assist game in a 4-2 home victory vs. Harvard on Jan. 17.
2015-16 (Freshman): Played in 29 games, including all six postseason contests...Picked up his first collegiate point with an assist on Corey Kalk's second-period goal at No. 11 Harvard on Nov. 1...Scored his first career and only goal of the season against No. 1 Quinnipiac on Jan. 29 at Thompson...Had assists in the final two games of the first-round series against Colgate, including setting up Tim O'Brien for the series-clinching goal in double overtime of Game 3.
Before Dartmouth: One of two incoming players from the Land of Lincoln, John played two seasons for the Chicago Steel in the United States Hockey League (USHL). In 120 regular season games, he registered 77 points on 22 goals and 55 assists. Prior to his USHL career, he played for the Chicago Mission in the High Performance Hockey League where he was part of a State Championship team. He has also attended a USA Hockey Select Festival.
