Bio
Before Dartmouth
Kayla Gilding participated on Indoor and Outdoor Track, Basketball, and Soccer at South Burlington High School, leading as captain of Outdoor Track, Basketball, and Soccer her senior year. Gilding's team was champions of the Vermont High School Girls' Indoor Track State Championship, and Gilding participated in championships for long jump and 200m, 300, and 400m dash. Gilding was awarded SBHS Most Valuable Player for Track and All-State for Soccer and Basketball, and was also awarded the Vermont State Athletic Directors Association Scholar Athlete award her senior year.
Personal
Gilding is the daughter of Robert and Lori and has one brother and one sister. At South Burlington High School, she was a part of National Honor Society, SBHS Boosters, and the Athletic Leadership Council and had an Athletic Department student internship. At Dartmouth, Gilding plans to study Biology.
