Sophomore (2015-16): CRCA Scholar Athlete … rowed in the varsity 8 all season … was in the seven seat that defeated UMass and BU (6:36.9) … at the Eastern Sprints Regatta, she was the five seat and placed third in the Grand Final (7:22.23) … rowed in the five seat at the Ivy League Championship, helping Dartmouth take third in the Petite Final (6:55.74) and defeat Cornell.

Freshman (2014-15): Was the bow of the second varsity that won against BC, UMass and MIT (8:07.10) … at the Eastern Sprints Regatta, she was the bow in the second varsity that placed third in the Grand Final (6:45.83) … was the bow of the second varsity 8 boat that took second in the Petite Final at the Ivy League Championship (6:49.477).

Before Dartmouth: Attended Garfield High School … four-time letterwinner in rowing … captain as both a junior and a senior … placed first at the Northwest Regional Championship all four years … was a U.S. Junior National team member in 2013 in Trakai, Lithuania … won silver at the U.S. Rowing Youth National Championship as a senior … concert choir.

Personal: Simone Juliana Framson is the daughter of Marlies van Bergeijk and Paul Framson … has one sister, who is part of the Harvard-Radcliffe women’s lightweight crew team.
