Junior (2016-17): CRCA Scholar-Athlete … raced in the varsity 4A all season … helped her boat take fifth in the Grand Final at Sprints (8:07.17) … at Ivies, Dartmouth was second in the second final (7:56.58).

Sophomore (2015-16): Rowed in the 6-seat of the second varsity that out-finished UMass and BU (6:46.6) … at Sprints, her boat came third in the Grand Final (7:22.23) … rowed in the 4-seat of the second varsity at Ivies, finishing second in the Petite Final (7:03.58).

Freshman (2014-15): Sat in the 4-seat of the second varsity that won against BC, UMass and MIT (8:07.10) … at Sprints, her crew was third in the Grand Final (6:45.83) … helped her boat finish in sixth in the Grand Final at the Ivy League Championship (7:37.220).

Before Dartmouth: Attended Middlesex School, where she was a three-sport athlete … 11-time letterwinner is cross country, alpine skiing and rowing … captain of the rowing team as a senior … placed first at the NEIRA Championship Regatta (Women’s 4+) … Most Improved Runner … Award for Excellence in French.

Personal: Miranda Gish is the daughter of Robin and Peter Gish … has two sisters … both parents rowed at Dartmouth: mother (1979), father (1980-81) … her grandfather, uncle, great-grandfather and sister all attended Dartmouth … planning on majoring in art history and French.
