Q&A With Nathalie Ferneau
Growing up in the Upper Valley I never expected to end up at Dartmouth. But after a long college search process I realized that I was subconsciously comparing every school I looked at to Dartmouth and none were quite measuring up.
How long have you been riding and what got you interested in riding?
I have been riding for the past thirteen years. I started riding because my neighbor had a giant horse that had a tendency to escape and end up in my back yard and my mom thought I should learn how to act around him. It only took one ride and I was completely hooked.
Tell me something interesting about you that might come as a surprise to your teammates.
I briefly did vaulting, which is gymnastics on horseback.
What activities are you involved in outside of Equestrian?
Outside of equestrian I love meeting people at my job at Bella Clothing and Shoes in Hanover and working with the Goose Pond Lake association in Canaan New Hampshire to help monitor the water conditions and prevent the arrival of invasive species.
