Interim head coach Joe Marsh has announced the 2017-18 Dartmouth women's hockey team awards and head coach Laura Schuler has named captains for next season.

Dartmouth women's hockey junior Christine Honor was named All-Ivy League Honorable Mention, as was announced by the league office on Thursday afternoon.

Over the weekend, Joe Marsh wrapped up the year as Dartmouth women's hockey's interim head coach at the rink he called home since the 1980's: Appleton Arena in Canton, New York.

Dartmouth women's hockey closed the 2017-18 season against No. 8/8 St. Lawrence on Saturday, falling by a score of 5-0 at Appleton Arena. The Big Green conclude their year with a record of 5-19-3 and 3-16-3 in ECAC Hockey play, while the Saints improve to 18-10-4 and 14-6-2.

Dartmouth women's hockey fell to No. 2/2 Clarkson, 4-0, at Cheel Arena on Friday evening. The Big Green dipped to 5-18-3 and 3-15-3 in ECAC Hockey play, while the Golden Knights improved to 28-4-1 and 18-3-0.

Dartmouth women's hockey will end its season on the road, taking on No. 2 Clarkson on Friday and No. 8 St. Lawrence the following afternoon.

Dartmouth women's hockey junior Christine Honor was named the ECAC Hockey Goaltender of the Week, as announced by the league office on Tuesday.


For the second game in a row, Dartmouth women's hockey went to overtime, tying Union, 2-2, on Senior Day at Thompson Arena on Saturday. The Big Green moved to 5-17-3 and 3-14-3, while the Dutchwomen are now 7-20-5 and 5-13-2.


For the second time in the last month, Dartmouth women's hockey and Rensselaer went to overtime, skating to a 1-1 tie at Thompson Arena on Friday evening. The Big Green are now 5-17-2 and 3-14-2, while the Engineers moved to 9-16-6 and 6-10-3.

Dartmouth women's hockey will play at Thompson for the last time in 2017-18 this weekend, hosting Rensselaer and Union. After the game against the Dutchwomen on Saturday, seniors Brooke Ahbe, Hailey Noronha and Morgan Turner will be honored.
